((I think Shaywin let me start a Pokemon RPG pretty much... so here goes.))

Sam sat on his bed, in his bedroom, watching TV, and throwing mini basketballs at the mini hoop next connected to his door, and looked at all his Pokemon posters. Tomorrow was the big day. He turned his attention to the TV, and saw a battling contest. He watched it, but soon he went to sleep accidentally.

His Mom came in, and saw him sleeping. She turned off his light and his TV, and kissed his cheek. "Get a good night's rest," she said.


Sam dreamed of his starter Pokemon and him, entering the Pokemon League together, side by side...

so one day he was walking in the woods and spotted a cyndaquil. without thinking he sent out his only poke, Magikarp, a great god. so after 1 splash the cyndaquil was weakened. He threw a pokeball and missed.

-50 Tries Later-

he catches the cyndaquil.

Sam woke up the next morning, and got up quickly. He got dressed quickly. He rushed out the door to Professor Rowan's lab. He had made it just in time.

"And so, ladies and gentlemen, that is why I decided to give you all a Pokemon." Professor Rowan said with a smile.

Everyone rushed to the table with the Poke balls, and Sam was the last to get to the table.

"Oh, Sam? I thought you'd never show up."

"Well, I am." Sam said with the slightest smile.

Everyone rushed out of the lab with their Poke balls except Sam.

Sam's slight grin turned to a frown. "What? Are you kidding me? None left for me?"

"You can always come back next year, Sam. Or..."

"Or what?"

Professor Rowan pulled a Poke ball off the table that was in a certain spot no one looked at at first. "This one... well... this one is very small, and doesn't learn very quickly... No one has taken it, so soon we were going to... put it to sleep."

"I dont care! I'll take it!"

"Okay then..." He gives the Poke ball to sam. "Take good care of it!"
